Description

MMWC-1 SepFast Large Beads and SepFast MMWC-1 are mixed mode weak cation-exchange chromatography media designed for salt-tolerant binding of positively charged biological products. The binding capacity is also independent to a wide range of salt concentrations  (up to 0.5M NaCl). Under optimised purification conditions highly pure protein products (>95% purity) could be obtained in a single chromatography step.

The base matrix is made of beaded agarose that has been highly cross-linked. The media is stable in most chemical conditions experienced in the bioprocessing industry. 

These products are suitable for process scale use. MMWC-1 SepFast Large Beads is good for purifying proteins from crude or particulate-containing feed. SepFast MMWC-1 is suitable to process clarified feed. Regulatory support files are available on request.

1 ml and 5 ml pre-packed columns are supplied for screening use. The column hardware is fully compatible to AKTA systems and has a pressure rating of 6 bar (0.6 MPa).
