Description

Q SepFast 6HF, DEAE SepFast 6HF, SP SepFast 6HF and CM SepFast 6HF are a group of strong anion exchange, weak anion exchange, strong cation exchange and weak cation exchange media, respectively.

The above ion-exchange chromatography (IEX) media is designed for the general purification of biological molecules in which impure components can be chromatographically separated from target molecules at a less demanding process.

The base matrix is made of highly cross-linked 6% agarose. It is very stable to most of the chemical conditions experienced in the bioprocessing industry. The IEX SepFast 6HF could be a good alternative to the IEX Sepharose 6FF with the benefit of reduced cost. We provide the regulatory support files of individual resins for those cGMP applications.

The core advantages to large-scale biomanufacturings are:

  • Good dynamic binding capacity
  • Good pressure / flow property
  • Low cost

Pre-packed columns for screening and process development use are available at following sizes: 1 ml, 5 ml, 3.8 ml (7x100mm ID x BH), 9.5 ml (11x100mm ID x BH), 20 ml (16x100mm ID x BH), 53 ml (26x100mm ID x BH). All these columns have connections fully compatible to Akta systems. Column hardware has 6 bar (0.6 MPa) pressure rating. See Column Instruction for details of HiSep and Optio column hardware.

Pre-packed columns for pilot to production scale use with column diameter ranging from 5cm to 45cm are available on request. For bulk loose media, please contact us.

The range of IEX SepFast 6HF media is developed and supported for production scale chromatography use. Regulatory Support File (RSF) is available to assist process validation and submissions to regulatory authorities.
