Purification Process Development
BioToolomics has a whole range of tools and expertise for early stage purification process developments at a much cost-effective way.
We have a comprehensive knowledge of various chromatography media. In particular, BioToolomics has built up a large library of mixed-mode (multi-mode) ligand (MML) resins. It covers all the possible molecular interactions. The potential candidate resins against a given biomolecular target will be screened at a much cost-saving approach. As little as 1 µl resin can be packed into our 96 deep well filter plate for high throughput screening activities. Packed column is subsequently used for process verification and scaling up study.
According to the physical and biochemical properties of the target molecule, the expression system, the cultural conditions, the impurities, the purity requirement, the quantity requirement in the short and longer term, the cost budget, the manufacturing mode (in house or outsourcing) and the time frame etc, BioToolomics can quickly lay out the possible purification routes before starting any practical work.
BioToolomics has partnered with the North East Proteomics Analysis Facility (NEPAF, www.nepaf.com) to support purification process development tasks with the powerful and thorough analytical tools / expertise.
