Chelating SepFast BG
Introduction
Chelating SepFast BG employs IDA (iminodiacetic acid) as
the metal chelating ligand. It is covalently coupled to porous agarose base
matrix. Chelating SepFast BG possesses high mechanical strength and high mass
transfer rate. When the requirement of target protein purity and/or protein
binding capacity isn’t high, Chelating SepFast BG is an ideal choice for low
cost purification of His-tagged proteins. It is recommended in batch or gravity
flow purification operations. Empty BG-30 and BG-5 column can be used for such
applications. The operation is simple and no expensive equipment is required.
